We are a not-for-profit, community based centre managed by a parent committee. We provide the highest quality care and education for children aged from six weeks to five years of age.
Our well appointed, home-like premises offer a warm, safe and secure environment and include security-coded entrance, air-conditioning, large open rooms and excellent resources.

Nought to Five Early Childhood Centre is located at 16 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park. You can find us between Lane Cove Road and Wicks Road and we are opposite the Australia Post Business Centre.

History
Nought to Five Early Childhood Centre, previously known as Eden Park Child Care Centre, was established in 1977 as the first purpose built, work-based child care centre in Sydney. We relocated in August 1998 from the Eden Park Estate to our present location.
Centre Operation
Our hours of operation are from 7.15am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Our centre is open for 50 weeks with an approximate two week closure during the Christmas Period (fees are not payable for the closure period). We are closed on Public Holidays.

We are fully licenced by the NSW Department of Community Services and are subject to continued monitoring and licencing inspections. We are committed to the Accreditation process and recently received the maximum accreditation certificate.
Fees
The Management Committee sets the daily fee for children attending the centre and this is reviewed annually at the end of each financial year. This fee is charged for the place, not for the time your child occupies the place and it includes all meals.

Your family may be eligible to receive the Child Care Benefit either through a weekly reduction of fees or as a lump sum claim at the end of the financial year. You will need to apply to the Family Assistance Office to receive a reference number and / or a percentage.
Accreditation & Licensing
We are fully licenced by the NSW Department of Community Services and are subject to continued monitoring and licencing inspections.
We are fully committed to the Accreditation process and have recently received the maximum accreditation certificate.
Meals
All meals are provided at the centre, including morning & afternoon teas and a hot lunch each day. Our meals are catered for and are delivered fresh daily to the premises. All Food Safety regulations are strictly followed. We also take into mind the dietary needs for individual children and age groups.

We are fortunate to have staff who have been at the centre for a number of years. At present 5 staff have been with the Centre for over 10 years.
The current minimum waiting list is approximately 18 months. To place your name on our waiting list you can download the Waitlist Application from this website and post it in with a $25.00 non-refundable deposit.
You will remain on our waiting list until you advise us to remove your details. We will communicate with you a few times throughout the year, by way of our newsletter and a mail out in July of each year to confirm you still wish to remain on our waiting list.
